We’re excited to announce the appointment of Alistair Bond as our new Surveying Manager here at LANDHQ.
Alistair brings a unique blend of surveying expertise, diverse experience, and competitive spirit to the team. A Licensed Cadastral Surveyor, he has worked on a wide range of subdivision, land development, and cadastral projects, building a reputation for accuracy, clear communication, and client-first delivery. His technical skills are matched by his ability to lead projects from start to finish from field work and scheme plans through to title sign-off.
Outside the office, Alistair’s background as a New Zealand rower at the highest international level (including the Olympics) has shaped his approach to work: discipline, teamwork, and striving for excellence. These qualities align perfectly with LANDHQ’s ethos of delivering smart solutions while keeping things practical and down-to-earth.
What this means for our clients
Alistair’s appointment strengthens our surveying capability and ensures we can:
- Provide faster, clearer surveying advice across Waikato and Bay of Plenty
- Seamlessly integrate planning and surveying services under one roof
- Expand our presence with boots on the ground in both Matamata and Cambridge
A great fit for LANDHQ
At LANDHQ, we’re all about combining technical know-how with genuine people skills. Alistair shares our passion for helping clients navigate the complex world of land development while keeping the process as simple and stress-free as possible.
We’re stoked to have Alistair in the crew and can’t wait to see the impact he’ll have on upcoming projects.
Welcome aboard, Alistair!
